A Marvel executive revealed that the Quicksilver character in the "Avengers" sequel will be portrayed differently, compared to the earlier version that was shown in "X-Men: Days of Future Past."
Marvel Studios head, Kevin Feige, told IGN what fans can expect in the film.
"We are very much playing up two things that [Days of Future Past doesn't] play with: one is his relationship with his twin sister, Wanda; the other is, his backstory as an Eastern European child of a war-torn country, and we follow him throughout the whole movie -- him and Wanda -- as it relates to their feelings about the Avengers and how that shifts and changes over the course of the movie. So it's a very different thing than coming out from one, unbelievably awesome showcase sequence of the movie, and much more interwoven throughout the entire movie," Feige said.
The Quicksilver role in "X-Men: Days of Future Past" was portrayed by Evan Peters while in the upcoming "Avengers: Age of Ultron," the popular superhero will be portrayed by Aaron Taylor Johnson, reports Stack. Elizabeth Olsen will portray the role of Scarlet Witch while James Spader will play Ultron. Robert Downey Jr., Aaron, Paul Bettany, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Samuel L. Jackson, Jeremy Renner, and Colbie Smulders reprise their roles in the film.
Meanwhile, the entire cast graced the recent San Diego Comic-Con, states CT Entertainment. Fans of the highly anticipated sequel were treated to the first official trailer which was not leaked in any online entertainment site.
Movie Pilot first shared some of the details of the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" trailer. The site mentioned that the clip begins with the gang of superheroes trying to discover who can lift the popular hammer of Thor.
Great moments in the trailer also include Captain America shooting guns and the Black Widow calming down The Hulk. Scarlet Witch will also be seen using her very own magical powers.
Fans are now trying to guess which character will be left to die in the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" movie. This could be in line with what director, Joss Whedon, who revealed that there will be a major character death in the film.
