Nicki Minaj took the Internet airwaves recently to drop the cover art for her new single 'Anaconda.' She left the provocative photo -- of what appeared to be her bare bum covered only by a thong -- on Instagram and Twitter as a teaser for the new single. What she didn't drop, though, was that song, which was slated to hit iTunes on July 28.

On Sunday, Minaj returned to Instagram to announce she was postponing the song's release by a week.

"My darlingz, I've pushed the release of Anaconda to next week, Monday 8/4. I promise you will understand why before the week is out, " she wrote. "Loveeeeeeee uuuuuu."

And while she didn't give a reason as to why she was pushing back the release date of the single -- which is sure to be all Roman-esque, considering her penchant for using the strange growling male voice in her flow -- what she did give us in return were some beautifully hilarious Photoshopped memes of that 'Anaconda' artwork.

Well, not really. The Internet did. But Nicki helped facilitate those gut-busting memes, thanks to her knack for taking herself way too seriously, and also throwing 'dat butt' up on a white background. Surely someone warned her as to what the Photoshop gods could deliver from that package, no?

And while reports say that Ms. Minaj isn't too pleased with the collective Internet Photoshop prowess, we are. Cause these things are funny, guys. And here they are.
