The Kristen Stewart and Rupert Sanders affair may have caused such great buzz in the entertainment world but when the director and his wife Liberty Ross' divorce was finalized, it got Ross a huge amount of money.

According to UPI, Ross filed for divorce in January of last year after several scandalous photos of "Twilight" actress Kristen Stewart emerged showing her and director Rupert Sanders kissing inside a car in July of 2012.

It was recalled too, in the report, that the two met during the making of the movie "Snow White and the Huntsman" where Sanders was director and Stewart was lead actress.

The director's wife also made appearances in the movie during the flashback scenes as the mother of Snow White. After the movie's premiere, it only took two months for the controversial pictures documenting their affair to emerge online and spread in various entertainment magazines.

Both of them made public apologies after their disgraceful affair was finally put to open.

During the time of the affair, Stewart was also in a relationship with her Hollywood love team, Robert Pattinson. New Zealand Herald remembers the actress' admission of the affair with Sanders through an open letter for her boyfriend.

An excerpt of the sensational letter read as follows:

"I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."

On the other hand, the 35-year-old model and now ex-wife of Sanders said that she was completely devastated with the revelation of the scandal.

The result of the couple's divorce filing resulted to Ross getting their LA home, their house and apartment in London, along with 15% of the profits that Sanders will earn on the films he will make. Ross will also receive half of Sander's residuals for the movie "Snow White and the Huntsman," wrote People.com.

It was further added that the model-actress will get $25,000 spousal support up until June 18 or until the time that she decides to get married again.

Both Rupert Sanders and Liberty Ross will share joint custody for their two kids, Skyla (9) and Tennyson (7). However, it will be Ross who will receive $14,000/month in child support.

Meanwhile director Sanders is speculated to direct "The Juliet" and "Van Helsing." Kristen Stewart remains friends with ex-boyfriend Pattinson and there have been roaming news that the two might get back together again, reports. CT Entertainment.
