Amid all the Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi divorce rumors, the couple is hinting on giving their married life a fresh start by becoming the owners of a brand new luxurious condo unit.

Radar Online interestingly notes how the two popular personalities have proven all their critics wrong about their alleged troubled relationship by buying a brand new home.

An exclusive report from the entertainment site states that the couple bought a full floor of a high end building located in the heart of Beverly Hill. The reason behind it is the new home's undeniably good location. They still have not let go of their property in Santa Barbara, though.

The source adds that starting fresh in a new home is a good sign for the couple considering that this has been their second home purchase for the year.

Controversial rumors that previously surrounded the couple include the "Arrested Development" star de Rossi having drinking troubles and was even alleged to have been sent to rehab. And now that the 41-year-old television star is reportedly done with treatment, speculations are suggesting that comedienne Degeneres is trying all her best to save their marriage, states Classicalite.

There were even some sources saying that the host is willing to give anything that de Rossi wants, even touching on the topic of having kids.

Additional rumors are stating that Australian-American actress de Rossi has even tried to get in touch with the Center for Surrogate Parenting. It is the same venue where renowned singer-songwriter Elton John has sought help to have his own two boys and other options explored with his partner.

The couple has been known too for being fond of collecting properties and moving around a lot. International Business Times recalls that the Los Angeles property they bought for about $39,888,000 was the same property they also sold just after six months for a bigger cost of $49,500,000.

As they move in to their new home, reports suggest that Degeneres is also giving up on drinking as a way of helping her wife de Rossi to remain sober even after rehab.

"Ellen has always been a big drinker - she loves her wine. But she's realized that her behavior has only enabled Portia to drink as well, and she feels partially responsible for Portia's rehab stint," a source shares with OK! Magazine.
