The One Direction heartthrobs are at it again. This time, Liam Payne teased his social media followers with what appears to be a full-frontal, pixelated photo of himself.

The racy snapshot was captioned with, "Damn that was my last pair!" The 20-year-old singer even has his arms all stretched out in the photo.

It was not mentioned where Liam was when the controversial photo was taken, but reports say he was enjoying a break before their group starts the U.S. leg of their current tour titled "Where We Are," states New York Daily News.

According to E! Online, fans of the boy band went gaga over the cheeky photo, and a hashtag #Uncensoritliam trended on Twitter.

So was it true or fake?

After seven hours, Payne posted a new version of the same photo on Instagram. The second photo only proved that the One Direction member was only fooling around. He was actually wearing black trunks! He wasn't nude after all. He captioned the second photo with, "Oh I found them never mind aha."

The heartthrob prankster did not totally disappoint the fans. Some found Liam's antics very funny and naughty at the same time.

Harry Styles, another One Direction member, also had his own share of pranks. His own version of a racy photo was posted last month, states US Magazine.

Viral Global News also recalls how Styles pulled down his own pants to reveal a "Brasil!" tattoo near his groin, during their Rio de Janeiro stop.

Styles pulled another pants related prank, this time, on Piers Morgan. The One Direction hunk simply ran by Morgan and pantsed him in front of thousands, writes Hollywood Life.  Watch the video below.
