Last year, the LG G2 disappointed many with its great specs but obtrusive operating system and laggy performance. This time around LG seems to have righted things with the LG G3, a phone that doesn't compromise on practially anything.

Engadget - "In the G3, LG has almost produced a power user's dream. That QHD display, responsive performance and decent battery life make for a fully loaded handset that should have broad appeal. Sadly, until we know the price, its overall value is yet to be determined."

Bottome Line: Possessing the right blend of features and design, the G3 finally gives LG the right phone with which to challenge Korean rival Samsung. 

The Verge - "The LG G3 may not make the best first impression with everyone, but spend some time using it and you'll quickly find a lot to like about it. Whether it's the fun of a quick, laser-guided camera, the reassurance of a long-lasting battery, or the fast performance of a mature Android OS, this phone does everything well. The Quad HD display is excellent, even if its extra resolution doesn't contribute much in the way of meaningful improvement. LG's marketing push around lasers and resolution is predictably overblown, but the company's underlying camera and display technologies are indeed impressive and make the G3 a phone worth owning."

ZDNET - The LG G3 is an elegant high-end Android smartphone with a superb 5.5-inch screen, a high-quality 13-megapixel main camera, a fast quad-core SoC, intelligent UI skinning and an admirably restrained set of software extras. 

There you have it: while there might not be a clearcut 'best' Android phone at the moment, the LG G3 certainly has what it takes to compete with the other flagship handsets.
