Sarah Palin has announced that she is launching her own online news channel. Unlike CNN, Fox or ABC, Palin's new site will not be free.

In order to subscribe to the news channel, users must pay either $9.95 a month, or $99.95 for a whole year. Out of the goodness of Palin's heart, military personnel will be given free subscriptions.

"Are you tired of the media filters? Well, I am," Palin says in a promotional video. "I want to talk directly to you on our channel on my terms, and no need to please the powers that be."

Politicians have been popping up across the news networks while getting paid as contributors, and it has become a standard procedure to snag one of those gigs for elected officials when they are no longer in the lawmaking business.

We've seen Newt Gingrich and Mike Huckabee take their talents to the world of television, and both politicians brought an in-depth and inside perspective on the dealings of the nation.

What citizens haven't seen, though, is a politician that creates their own online network where the lines between 'news' and 'personal opinion' are blurred.

While most politicians are 'spin kings' and professionals at bending factual information, Sarah Palin goes above and beyond the call of duty by putting out falsities and misinformation.

We've assembled a list of quotes from Palin that should give an idea of the kind of thing you're paying for, should you subscribe to Palin's network. Careful what you wish for, kids. We can see Russia from here.

In 2008, Palin was asked what newspapers or magazines she subscribed too. Palin answered, "All of 'em, any of 'em that have been in front of me over all these years."

When a person who wants to start their own news channel, but cannot name a single newspaper that they read, may be an issue there.

In 2011, Palin decided to give her own made up history of Paul Revere's midnight ride. "He who warned, uh, the British that they weren't gonna be takin' away our arms, uh, by ringing those bells, and um, makin' sure as he's riding his horse through town to send those warning shots and bells that we were going to be sure and we were going to be free, and we were going to be armed."

As the leader of an online news channel, it's refreshing that Sarah Palin knows who our allies are..."But obviously, we've got to stand with our North Korean allies."

Palin must have forgotten that North Korea is run by Kim Jong-un, who has infamously said on numerous occasions that he will wipe America off the face of the map.

When subscribing to a news channel, just please make sure that the information is factual. Or perhaps hilarious -- which would be one reason to catch this Palin-steered mess before it implodes spontaneously.
