Bath Township, Ohio has never been the same since LeBron James decided to go back to the Cavs. Suddenly, the locals have to deal with a cadre of people following a basketball icon. So, the subject of all the espionage whipped up a thank you gift for them.
The James family called up Baker Boulevard Decadent Desserts on Tuesday, Yahoo Sports wrote, asking if they can deliver cupcakes to James' neighbors. It was the family's way of thanking the community for being understanding amidst the swarm of media and die-hard fanbase visiting the area.
One of their neighbors, David Galehouse, tweeted a photo of a special note that came with a dozen cupcakes -- six "Just A Kid From Akron" cherry cola cupcakes and six "Home Court Chocolate Chunk" cupcakes.
"I thought it was really great of him to do that. He's never done anything like that in the past," Galehouse told several news outlets, including NewsNet5.

The note reads:
"Dear friend,
We know things have been hectic in the neighborhood these past few weeks & we are sorry for the chaos. We are so thankful to live in this wonderful community and we are so blessed to have understanding neighbors like you. As a gesture of our gratitude and appreciation, our family wants to give you something that is very meaningful to us, our foundation's cupcakes: Just A Kid from Akron Cherry Cola Pie, Homecourt Chocolate Chunk Cupcake.
We hope you enjoy the treat!
Savannah, Lebron, Bronny, Bryce"
In an ABC News article, a resident agreed that people residing in Bath had to put up with traffic, tourists and police presence since the NBA star rejoined the Cleveland Cavaliers.
"It's been pretty crazy... There's been cars parked on both sides of the streets for a block or two, and on Friday police showed up to mitigate the chaos and the traffic," the report quoted a certain Will Smith as saying.
Want to sample the goods? The cupcakes are available at the store, located at 2890 Sand Run Parkway in Fairlawn, NewsNet5 said. Half of the proceeds will go to the LeBron James Family Foundation.
