For Manny Pacquiao's upcoming fight in November, the Filipino boxer will be facing Chris Algieri as the two boxers will be facing each other in Macau.

The fight for Pacquiao's welterweight title is set on November 22, a year after the Filipino boxer beat Brandon Rios on the same arena, Yahoo Sports reported. The same article noted Bob Arum's remark that Pacquiao will likely fight once a year in Macau until he decides to retire.

''It's almost like fighting at home so it's a major advantage for Mann. 'Plus if he to fights in Macau he's not subject to U.S. income taxes, which are 39.5 percent," Arum told Yahoo Sports.

The Top Rank promoter added the fight will not sell well on pay-per-view in the US but that it would lower taxes for Pacquiao and bring home a bigger site fee from the Venetian hotel-casino.

''We hope to make up for any shortfall with the pay-per-view in China. The market is huge and we're going to sell it for like four dollars,'' Arum added.

In a similar report, New York Daily News noted that Algieri's promoter Joe DeGuardia is "looking forward to a great fight" in November.

"All terms have been reached...They sweetened the deal for him. I offered an amount that I thought was fair and the question was how they were going to divide it up," DeGuardia told New York Daily News.

The same report added that Algieri is very much willing to fight Pacquiao. "This will change my life once again and I welcome the future. All of Team Algieri is very excited for this fight," Algieri was quoted by New York Daily News as saying.

Algieri, according to Yahoo Sports, remains unbeaten in his 20 fights that include eight knockouts. He recently won over a split decision against Ruslan Provodnikov for the lightweight title.

Arum considers Algieri as someone who "brings a lot of promotion," Yahoo Sports noted.

''He has a lot of things going for him. He's a college graduate, good looking kid, a good boxer. There's a lot of stuff that makes him very saleable," Arum said.

Maeanwhile, Pacquiao has had limited boxers to fight as Oscar De La Hoya has not allowed his Golden Boy Promotions boxers to fight those of Top Rank, Yahoo Sports explained.

The same report noted that this has resulted to poor pay-per-view numbers for Pacquiao as well as Floyd Mayweather.

But boxing fans are still awaiting for 2015, as the two champions are rumored to go face to face on the ring.
