Another Hollywood baby is on the way as Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling are now expecting their first child, reports say.

OK! broke the news that Mendes is seven months pregnant with Gosling's baby, a first for both. 

An insider revealed to OK! That the pair couldn't be happier. "She's been ready for motherhood for a while now," the source told OK!, "and to be sharing this experience with Ryan is a dream come true for her!" "The Notebook" actor, according to the Magazine, grew up without a dad and is thrilled to take on this important role. "He always said when he had kids, he'd be there no matter what. This is it for him," continued the source.

Back in 2011, starting a family was the farthest thing in the actress's mind. Speaking to Stylist Magazine, she indicated that she didn't feel the urge to have kids just yet. 

"Maybe I'll do it when I'm 41 or something; that's happened to a lot of people I know who decided not to. I don't feel the ticking clock... I feel I have time. Whether that's a reality or not, I don't know. I'll just be patient." 

True to her word, Mendes is now 40-years-old, and two months away from meeting her firstborn.

Mendes and Gosling have been dating for three years, after working together on the set of "The Place Beyond The Pines" back in 2011. In the film, the pair co-starred as parents and three years later, they're about to be parents in real life!

Rumblings of a pregnancy began earlier this year when it was reported that Mendes refused to pass through airport scanners, noted ET! Online. She discussed the incident on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and denied the rumors.

"It's so ridiculous," she said to DeGeneres. "It all started because I didn't want to go through the scanners at the airport. You know those X-ray scanners, which are really creepy? They basically see you naked, right? And not only that, but there's a radiation aspect to it, so I always opt out."

The interview with Ellen happened around February. Now, if she really is seven months pregnant, that would probably mean Mendes was in the middle of her first trimester then.

While several outlets have reached out to the pair's reps for comment, no response has been given.
