For the next NBA season, a couple of players like Kevin Love, Eric Gordon and Jeremy Lin will be traded to other teams, rumors spreading reveal.
Lin, who is a point guard of the Houston Rockets is believed to be sent to the Philadelphia 76ers. In a report, Bleacher Report quoted ESPN's Marc Stein as saying "It's believed that the Rockets would have to send Philadelphia at least one future first-round pick to convince the Sixers to go through with the deal, given that Lin is owed $15 million next season despite the fact that his contract will only count for $8.4 million for salary cap purposes."
He added that the 76ers are "happy" to take Lin despite having rookie Michael Carter-Williams as their starting point guard.
On the other hand, the Milwaukee Bucks has also expressed their willingness to get Lin for the team. Fan Sided reported that the Bucks are showing great interest in getting Lin as the Rockets express their desire to let the player go because of the hefty sum of money he is worth for the previous season and the next one.
Bleacher Report noted that Lin is still under contract with the Rockets for one more season. It was also added that he averages 12.5 points, 2.6 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.0 steals per game.
Lin also gained popularity online because of his YouTube videos which earned him the Linsanity tag. The basketball player would usually earn more than a million views for each of his uploaded videos on YouTube. Most of his popular videos feature comic antics from the player who admitted to a report by Christian Post that he shot those when he had "no life and no job."
Meanwhile, there are reports that the New Orleans Pelicans is planning to move either Eric Gordon or Alexis Ajinca to afford Omer Asik's $8.3 million salary, Fan Sided reported. The article also noted that although the Pelicans would want to trade Gordon to other teams, there is still a possibility that it may not happen as they could not find a replacement for him.
For the part of the Boston Celtics, Kevin Love is their main target. Bleacher Report quoted Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports as saying that the trade talks between Celtics and Minnesota are not yet closed.
It was noted that Love can make the Eastern Conference easier for Boston because of his ball skills that can hopefully spark a "postseason push" for the team, the Bleacher Report added.
