Music royalty and power couple Jay Z and Beyonce's marriage has been under some major scrutiny after rumors of infidelity on the part of Hova have refused to die down.

After Solange's infamous beat-down in an elevator back in May, rumors have swirled that Jay Z had strayed on Beyonce with various women. Once of which is singer Mya who made her statement via a fan inquiry over social media site Instagram.

The "Take Me There" singer responded to a fan who blatantly asked the singer, "Heard you and Jay Z had an 11-year-affair. Are you his side chick or nah?"

Mya responded simply and concisely, "Never did, never was, never will'.

"Illegitimate, thirsty sources with no facts and that's the ‘media' for you-especially today," continued the singer. "I play second to no one, pay my own bills, have my own label, own management company, rely on God only and respect myself & marriage too much for nonsense," added the star.

The 34-year-old didn't stop there, according to a screen-shot of the comments, Mya had more to say.

"False rumors are crafted for ratings & numbers. And miserable, unhappy people need someone to judge to deter the attention away from their own misery and feel better about their miserable lives. If they did it to Jesus, they'll do it to anyone. God bless."

Mya as well as other linked third parties have not made comments but following Beyonce's eyebrow-raising ad lib during her "On The Run" tour, it's possible Mya wants to distance herself from whatever is going on or about to blow over.

How did Mya, become involved? A recent blind item by CrazyDaysAndNights.net claimed that Jay Z has been unfaithful for some time and was supposedly financially supporting his long time mistress and referred to the woman as a "very short named R&B singer who hasn't had a hit in a while" and suggests she's dependent on her numerous men.

In an earlier report, LatinoPost wrote about how Beyonce changed some lyrics to her song "resentment" that had people thinking she basically confirmed the cheating rumors.

The "Drunk In Love" singer made some pretty specific changes in her song including a direct switch in the words of the song to reflect the length of her marriage to husband Jay Z. "Been ridin' with you for twelve years. Why did I deserve to be treated this way by you? (sic)"

In the original version, it was: "Been ridin' with you for six years. Why did I deserve to be treated this way by you? (sic)"
