Amidst the circulating iPhone 6 release and specs rumors that have been taking over the Internet, Apple has released a new TV ad promoting their iPhone 5S that targets parents.
The ad (found below) titled "Parenthood," shows a number of situations where having an iPhone 5S would prove to be useful in a home setting.
The iPhone 5S is being advertised as the perfect parenting tool. Apple illustrates its usefulness by showing how the device can be used on home appliances, to track family pets as well as monitor health.
The Verge says, "Parenthood" focuses on health and home capabilities. It emphasizes the use of the features of the recently launched iOS 8.
"With the power of iPhone 5s, you're more powerful than you think," the ad's tagline says with the "Life of Dreams" by Julie Doiron playing in the background setting the tone.
Some of the apps that parents can maximize with the iPhone 5S that prove to be effective parenting aids include "My Teeth, Drawnimal, Pet Manager Pro, and Kinsa. Devices shown off in the ad include the Withings Withbaby baby monitor, Kinsa's smart thermometer, and the Parrot Flower Power," notes MacRumors.com.
According to Apple's website, the iPhone 5S can give you the ability to create, shape and share your life from the palm of your hands.
The features of the iPhone 5S include a 64-bit chip, a touch ID fingerprint sensor, enhanced camera features, an A7 chip with dual core 1.3GHz Cyclone processor. The device also has 1 GB of RAM with high-quality CPU and graphics performance, and HD camera. The iPhone 5S also has dimensions that measure 123.8mm x 58.6mm x 7.6mm in height, width and thickness. It packs a tight 4-inch LED IPS LCD multi touchscreen.

Meanwhile, the highly-anticipated iPhone 6 is expected to drop sometime in September and is rumored to have two model sizes, 4.7-inch and 5.5-inches with enhanced features that run on iOS8 and decked out with an A8 processor.
