Japan and Colombia will face off on Tuesday in the third game of Group C in the 2014 World Cup matchups. Colombia is the Group C favorite and has already qualified for the round of 16 by winning its first two Group C stage matches. This will only be the second time in its history that Colombia will play in the group of 16.

When: Tuesday, June 24

Where: Arena Pantanal, Cuiabá

Start Time: 1 p.m. PT

Schedule: ESPN

Live Stream: ESPN

What to Watch For:

Colombia have scored five goals so far in the tournament on Japan's one. Colombia is aware that the game will be treated like a final for Japan, so they will have to be mentally prepared for the desperation that Japan will play with. Colombia's pace on the break may prove to be too much for Japan to handle. Japan will have to keep tabs on James Rodriguez and slow him down, as he has been a top player for Colombia on the attack.

Japan is looking for their first win against a South American team in any World Cup. They are going to have to beat Colombia with a minimum two-goal difference and pray that Greece can defeat the Ivory Coast to advance. With Greece still searching for its first goal of the tournament, it is unlikely that scenario will play out. Japan will be looking to Keisuke Honda and Shinji Kagawa to lead the attack against the group favorite, Colombia.

Predicted Lineup:

Japan: (Possible 4-2-3-1) Kawashima, Uchida, Yoshida, Morishige, Nagatomo, Endo, Yamagushi, Okazaki, Honda, Kagawa, Osako

Colombia: Ospina, Zuniga, Yepes, Zapata, Arias, Aguilar, Sanchez, Quintero, Rodriguez, Ibarbo, Martinez
