Both Australia and the Netherlands had their share of success in their openers, albeit on vastly different levels.
Austrailia showed the grit and fight necessary to compete in the World Cup, yet they were up against a Chile squad who would not be denied. Meanwhile the Oranje blitzed 2010's World Cup champions Spain 5-1 in a result that seemed to stun everyone.
And though Wednesday's match shouldn't be a blowout given Australia's ability to compete, the Netherlands are still expected to win, as they eye the group's top spot.
When: Wednesday, June 18, 2014

Team Updates
According to SBNation, the only injury of significance for either club is Ivan Franjic's unfortunate hamstring pull suffered in the Socceroos defeat against Chile. His likely replacement will be Ryan McGowan. Australia should also employ the exact formation they used against Chile, as it worked surprisingly well at times.
The Netherlands should start the same lineup that dismantled Spain in the opener. No one expects club boss Louis van Gaal to rest any of his stars, even though Australia is considered a weaker opponent. If anything, this is a key opportunity for the Oranje to pick up some much needed points in order to secure their spot in the knockout round.
What to Watch
Sneijder vs. Jedinak - One of the match's key factors will be whether Australia can contain Wesley Sneijder in the middle. That will mainly depend on midfielder Mile Jedinak, who will try to use his strength and savvy to match the declining speed of Sneijder. Though Jedinak himself isn't the speediest of players, his ability to anticipate and disrupt his mark will be key in this matchup.
Cahill vs. Vlaar - Cahill had it easy in his last match as Chile decided to "field two very small makeshift centre-backs versus a team that relies on crosses to a striker who is good in the air," according to SBNation. But the Netherlands' Ron Vlaar is by no means a small centre-back and should test Cahill's abilities. Yet, given Vlaar's recent play, neutralizing him isn't out of the question for Cahill.
Projected Lineups
Australia (4-4-1-1): Mat Ryan; Matthew Spiranovic, Jason Davidson, Alex Wilkinson, Ryan McGowan; Ben Halloran, Mark Milligan, Mile Jedinak, Mathew Leckie; Mark Bresciano; Tim Cahill
Netherlands (3-4-1-2): Jasper Cillessen; Bruno Martins Indi, Ron Vlaar, Stefan De Vrij; Daley Blind, Nigel De Jong, Jonathan De Guzman, Daryl Janmaat; Wesley Sneijder; Arjen Robben, Robin Van Persie.
