Samsung is gearing up for the release of its next-generation phablet in the Galaxy Note series. A few months from the expected launch, more details on the Note 4 have been leaked.
GSMArena has reported that a sample Samsung mobile device with model number N910A single sim has arrived in India for testing and evaluation.
According to the manifest, two pieces of the device came in from South Korea and landed in New Delhi with specs listed as having a 5.7-inch touch screen.
Based on the information, GSMArena explains that this could very well be the Note 4.
"A Samsung SM-N910A has entered India recently, its voyage over there being made for testing and evaluation purposes. Since the Galaxy Note 3 has the model number SM-N900, it stands to reason that this would be its successor. The 'A' in the name indicates that this particular version will be headed to AT&T."
In a report earlier this month by the same news outlet along with other sources, it was claimed that the Note 4 would indeed carry a 5.7-inch QHD (2560x1440 pixel) panel.
This device is the next in line for Samsung, which may be released sometime in the fall. It's expected to drop during the IFA 2014 technology trade event that will likely reveal a number of other smartphone releases, aside from the Galaxy Note 4.
Samsung has been releasing Galaxy Note devices annually beginning with its initial model in 2011. The release of the Galaxy Note 3 last year and has since been the phablet to beat. The Note 3 was met with rave reviews and accompanied by watch-type care that improved its user-ability and ease of access.
Other rumored specs of the device include featuring either a 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor or an Exynos 5433 chipset along with a stellar 16-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). Other enhancements include an enhanced stylus, 4GB RAM, 64-bit chip, 20-megapixel sensor and 2-megapixel front facing camera.
It is also rumored that the Galaxy Note 4 will have two versions, similar to the rumblings about Apple's iPhone 6. One will sport the conventional 2D flat display while the other will be using an OLED curved display.
Well, details of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 seem to be shaping up. Are you going to be buying an Apple iPhone 6 or are you going for the new Note 4?
