A cramp-free Lebron James carried the Miami Heat to tie the series at 1-1 beating the San Antonio Spurs 98-96.

Despite the home court advantage, the Heat showed Spurs fan at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas, that they will not give away the second game and give the latter a 2-win advantage.

James, who experienced cramping during Game 1, made sure that he recovered from his previous performance shooting 35 points and contributing 10 rebounds.

The defending NBA Finals MVP told USA Today that he took an early-morning yoga class the day of the game.

It was a close fight between the two teams who both delivered in terms of offense and defense but Chris Bosh's three pointer sealed the 2-point advantage against the Spurs.

"When we get stops and we don't turn the ball over, we're a very dangerous team. We just kind of got up in them a little bit more," James told USA Today.

The sports media outlet also noted that James made 14 points in the third quarter alone, burying jumpers and hitting different shots (including three-pointers).

Spurs point guard Patty Mills also made two consecutive three-pointers for his team which was aided by a Tony Parker runner shot but these both came too late for the Spurs, noted USA today.

Duncan, who scored 18 points and 15 rebounds for the Spurs, said in an interview with ESPN that the Heat executed really well during the end of the fourth quarter.

"LeBron made some great passes and guys made open shots. We had the same result in the first game. They kind of flipped it in this one," he was quoted as saying.

Even Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said that Lebron did a pretty good job with the ball and admitted that they did not take advantage of things and made bad calls.

On the other hand, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said that it was frustrating and painful to lose the first game but expressed his relief that they were able to take Game 2.

ESPN reported that during Sunday's game, the Spurs "picked yo right where they left off" shooting 10 of their first 15 shots. The team enjoyed an 11-point early lead which James cut with his performance. He led his team to enjoy its first lead at 34-33.

Game 3 is set on Wednesday at the Heat's home court American Airlines Arena in Miami Florida. Will the Lebron maintain his game spirit or will Popovich come up with a plan to again beat the Heat?
