Sofía Vergara's fans are going to see her favorite Latina in a very seductive role. In his new movie "Fading Gigolo," actor and director John Turturro goes above and beyond by doing a threesome with Vergara and Sharon Stone, a new trailer for the film shows. "Fading Gigolo" also features Hollywood legend Woody Allen.
The Huffington Post reported that the comedy has received good reviews since the trailer's released on Tuesday and has been officially selected for the 2013 Toronto Film Festival. There is no U.S. release date yet.
In the movie, Turturro (who wrote, directed and acted the film) plays Firovante, who decides to go into the oldest business in the world in order to help his friend Murray (Woody Allen), a broke book seller, make some extra cash. The plan: turn Firovante into a high end male prostitute.
That's how the two aging male members of the Hassidic Jewish community enter the prostitution business. Allen plays the pimp and Turturro, the gigolo.
In the comedic film, Vergara plays a very seductive client, Selima, a bored housewife. Selima tries to spice things up with Firovante and a dermatologist, Dr. Parker (Sharon Stone), confessing, "I like it rough. Sometimes I even like to be the man, just strap on my gun."
Then, both Vergara and Stone's characters can be seen in lacy lingerie waiting for their gigolo to join them in passionate ménage à trois.
It's rare to see Allen participating in a project that he has neither written nor directed. "I've always been open to acting in other people's films, but no one has ever asked me to be in their films, only two or three times in 30 years. When John Turturro asked me to be in 'Fading Gigolo', I said sure," Allen told Yahoo during an interview last year.
Vergara is known for her role in comedy sitcom "Modern Family," where she plays Gloria Delgado-Pritchett. The popular Colombian actress, who recently celebrated her 41th birthday, changed her hair color for her latest role in movie "Chef," directed by Favreau, a comedy that tells the story of a chef who loses his job and decides to open a food truck.
"Chef's" cast also includes Scarlett Johansson, Amy Sedaris, Dustin Hoffman, Robert Downey Jr. and Fraveau himself. The script is based on an original screenplay by Favreau.
