Reports are surfacing that Robin Thicke and Paula Patton were involved in a three-way-affair with a masseuse.

RadarOnline reports that according to Star Magazine, the pair's split in February was allegedly because Robin, 37, and Paula, 38, had been involved in a three-way that eventually became a two-person affair behind the wife's back.

Since the news hit the fan, Thick's representatives have outright deniied the claims. In fact, Daily Mail UK is claiming that Thick is now threatening to pursue legal action with the false news.

"On behalf of Mr. Thicke, as well as [the alleged masseuse], we categorically deny every assertion of fact posited in your email [asking for comment] and are certain there can be no reliable, trustworthy source of any such story, given its gross deviation from the truth," said Thicke's attorney Howard E. King in a letter to Star Magazine.

"Any purported source of such a story is lying," continued King. "...the story is published in wanton and reckless disregard of the truth, leading to a finding of malice and the imposition of actual and punitive damages."

The magazine details that the manage-a-trois, with the massage therapist, has been going on for two years and a credible insider claims that "Paula walked in on the masseuse and Robin and literally caught him with his pants down."

Elaborating on the feelings of Patton the magazine reports, "Paula felt betrayed and humiliated by both Robin and Jasmine [the code name of the third party]. These were two people she thought she could trust the most, but in the end everything backfired on her." 

Patton reportedly struggled with the betrayal as she only agreed to the open affair to make Thicke happym notes the outlet. She has attempted to put the incident past her but the suspicion and mistrust has been too much, thus her decision to end the marriage, the report adds.

Paula and Robin have known each other for about two decades and were childhood sweethearts. They got married 9 years ago in 2005 and have one son, Julian, aged 4. 

Patton has yet to issue a comment on the issue.
