The singer has posted a photo of herself topless on Instagram. However, TMZ reports that the photo has been taken down by the social media website within an hour after it has been posted.
According to the report, Instagram allegedly issued Rihanna a warning regarding the social media website's nude content policy. The photo, courtesy of French skin magazine Lui, features the singer baring her breasts on a cover spread.
"Our Instagram sources tell us Rihanna got an email that basically warned her ... keep your clothes on or risk having your account permanently shut down," reports the outlet.
Though it seems that Rihanna has been unsuccessful in her attempt to show off her assets on Instagram, the "What's My Name" singer is still determined. TMZ says that Rihanna actually uploaded the Lui photos on Twitter instead.
A quick trip to the social media website shows that the singer has indeed posted her topless and even bottomless photos there without bars. There are a total of 6 nude photos of the singer on Twitter - all of which are from Lui magazine.
One photo, that of Lui's cover, shows Rihanna clad only in coral-colored bottom undies and a dark hat. With her hair braided, the singer poses for the camera showing off her tattoos and all of her chest. Another photo of Rihanna is one in which she appears to be completely naked, covering only her private area with what looks like a scarf - leaving her top fully exposed.
A back shot of the singer was also posted on Twitter, exposing the tan lines on her upper torso while wearing a skimpy piece of clothing for her bottom. She was also pictured completely nude - except for sunglasses and shoes and in another controversial photo, left her bottom exposed while wearing a sleeveless pink top.
It is not clear yet whether Twitter will be following Instagram's move of taking down the photos.
