Jaime Camil couldn't be happier about welcoming a new baby to the family.

He and his wife Heidi Balvanera will soon have a little brother for their 2-year-old daughter, Elena. The "Qué Pobres tan Ricos" protagonist didn't just want a son for himself. According to TV Y Novelas, his father also wanted a grandson, so Camil is happy that his father is getting what he wanted.

His wife is four months pregnant, and they expect their son to be born in September.

The couple first announced they were expecting at the end of February.

"I'm very happy with the news," he told ¡Hola! magazine. "Heidi and I love each other deeply, and we always knew we wanted to give a little brother or sister to elena. We feel very lucky and blessed."

His wife expressed that she was just as excited.

"I'm very happy to relive the pregnancy experience, and of course, to have another baby. It doesn't matter if it's a boy or a girl," Balvanera said.

The couple first became parents on Oct. 25, 2011 when they welcomed Elena. They married in a United States courthouse in November 2012. They then had a church wedding in San José in July 2013.

Around the same time that they announced their pregnancy, Balvanera was defending her husband, saying that he and Sergio Mayer did not have any problems.

"It hurts me very much that the press came up with such big lies because at the end of the day, we are talking about a family," she said.
