Zoe fell prey to superstition on the latest installment of "Hart of Dixie."
In "A Good Run of Bad Luck," Zoe (Rachel Bilson) is still very upset about her breakup with Joel (Josh Cooke).
Unable to shake her blues, she goes to the town gypsy for advice. The gypsy makes her believe that she's cursed because she broke up George (Scott Porter) and Lemon (Jaime King). Zoe then enlists the help of Lavon (Cress Williams) to help get the two exes back together.
Lavon doesn't want any part of it, and tells Zoe that she shouldn't interfere in other people's personal relationships. She shrugs off his good advice and hatches a plan.
Zoe gets the two to meet for dinner, but the night ends terribly. When the pair finds out that the whole thing was Zoe's doing, they are angry about the situation, but cannot be mad at Zoe, as she is clearly downhearted about her recent breakup.
Meanwhile, Wade (Wilson Bethel) meets Vivian's (Lauren Bittner) ex, Charles. The two are immediately at odds because Charles knows that Wade caused Harley to get a black eye after following some of Wade's questionable advice. Needless to say, Charles does not approve of Vivian dating Wade.
The two nemeses are then forced to be on the same team at a Wilkes barbecue. The two are scouting in the woods together when they get trapped in a net, and are forced to talk to one another.
Charles reveals that he doesn't like Wade because he feels threatened by him. Charles confesses that the fact Harley chose to get advice from Wade instead of him makes him feel like he's being replaced.
Also, the knight that bought Annabelle (Kaitlyn Black) a drink during the renaissance faire is revealed to be a new patient, David.
Annabelle doesn't respond to David's proclamation of his love for her right away, as she is still getting over her last breakup. But after having a talk with Brick (Tim Matheson), she has a change of heart and decides to give David a chance.
Once she decides to go out with him, she discovers that he's the nephew of the Fillmore mayor, which could cause complications in the future.
On the next episode, "Back in the Saddle Again," "Zoe and Lemon turn to each other for girlfriend advice; Wade takes Vivian out; Lavon loses focus while bidding on bringing the County Fair to BlueBell when he learns that AnnaBeth is dating; Magnolia tries to get Brick to leave so she can throw a party."
Watch the promo below for "Back in the Saddle Again," which airs Friday, April 18 at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW.
