An Ohio man was ordered to stand on a street corner this weekend holding a sign that says he is a bully and picks on disabled children.

Municipal Court Judge Gayle Williams-Byers ordered 62-year-old Edmond Aviv of South Euclid to hold the sign for five hours on Sunday. According to the Associated Press, the sign reads, "I AM A BULLY! I pick on children that are disabled, and I am intolerant of those that are different from myself. My actions do not reflect an appreciation for the diverse South Euclid community that I live in."

Aviv was convicted of harassing his neighbors and their disabled children for the last 15 years. In February, he pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct and was sentenced in March.

"You wonder every time you walk outside, you turn to your left to see if your neighbor is there spitting, yelling, screaming at you and you don't know why," said Mike Prugh, reports WKYC-TV.

Prugh says Aviv also used a vent on his garage to hook up a device that leaked kerosene, plus he he smeared dog feces on parts of the house.

Judge Gayle Williams-Byers sentenced Aviv to 15 days in jail and ordered him to make a sign saying he is a bully.

"I would hope that's what's been achieved here is finally the modicum of justice that they had been hoping for for quite some time," said Williams-Byers.

In addition, Aviv is required to write a letter of apology to the family, take anger management classes and complete 100 hours of community service.
