Melanie Villarreal is one lucky girl. While other girls have big celebrations for their 15th and 16th birthdays, Melanie had a bash fit for a princess.
For her Quinceanera, a milestone birthday celebration in Latino communities, her mother spent more than $1 million to give her the perfect day.
Melanie wore a pink dress designed by Rafael Couture and arrived in style riding in a classic car with her father, Arturo Carmona. Arturo Carmona later shared the images on his Twitter account. In one picture, he said they were heading to the church, Cathedral of Monterrey.
In another image, he shared just how happy he was.
"And I'm on my way for a princess named @melvillarreaal, my gorgeous daughter!" he said, in a picture that featured him in his tuxedo wearing a bowtie.
Alicia Villarreal arrived feeling very emotional. She was joined by her husband Cruz Martínez and their children, Cruz ángelo, 8, and Félix Estéfano, 6.
Within the church, Arturo Carmona, 37, sat on the first pew on the left side. Meanwhile, Alicia Villarreal, 42, with her husband, her children and her mother sat on the first pew of the right side. Behind them were the 15 boys and the 14 girls that made up the court.
The festivities began at 9 p.m. and ended eight hours later at Fundidora Park, home to an arena that is used for concerts, shows and indoor sports. More than 1,400 guests were invited to Melanie's celebration.
