A few weeks ago, Itatí Cantoral was reportedly up for a new role, and now, the 38-year-old actress is being accused of being an alcoholic and a cheater.

As hard as she's tried, Cantoral is still struggling with alcoholism. The actress hasn't been able to hide her addiction from her loved ones or the public. Her dependency on alcohol is allegedly the main reason she and her husband of seven years, Carlos Alberto Cruz, are on the verge of breaking up, a source told TV Notas.

The source, who is a close friend of the couple, adds that Cantoral has already moved on with 59-year-old Raúl Padilla López. She was spotted with him recently.

Cantoral's life has been a mess because of alcohol, the source said

Cantoral also said that her work speaks for her and that she doesn't care what people say about her. Either way, it's her family and her work that she's most proud of because nothing else matters.
