French-Mexican actress Angelique Boyer has not commented on her breakup from José Alberto "El Güero" Castro, and part of the reason may be because she is so busy.
Boyer was on the TV show "Hoy" and said that she felt at peace and that rumors were certainly not bothering her anymore. Working on her hit telenovela "Lo Que La Vida Me Robó" has made all the difference, notes Terra.
"Work is my best therapy," Boyer said. "I don't expect to do more interviews about it. The more silence there is, the better. I'm calm, and I'm remaining in the sidelines."
Boyer also thanked her ex-boyfriend's daughter Sofia Castro for being so supportive. Castro also didn't divulge more details about her dad's relationship, which Boyer was very grateful for.
When asked about the relationship, Sofia Castro said that she didn't want to talk about her father's life. She added that she loved both her father and Boyer.
"I don't need to talk about their relationship," Sofia Castro said. "It's something that I have no right to do. I always lived on the outside because it's always been a relationship between the two."
Last week, Boyer was shot on the set of her TV show for "El Gordo Y La Flaca," where she also didn't volunteer any information in regards to the breakup. When the interviewer tried to shift in that direction, Boyer thanked the interviewer and walked off.
Instead, it was her co-star Daniela Castro that came to her defense. While she didn't give any specific details, she shared the advice she gave Boyer: Stay away from magazines.
"The only thing that does is contaminate you on something you know isn't true," Castro said. "At the end of the day, this type of magazine, and you know which one I'm talking about, is further deteriorating every day. It's falling deeper into its web of lies every day."
