Speculation is mounting that the Triple H-Bryan Daniel Wrestlemania 30 match may have an added last-minute stipulation, with The Wrestling Observer reporting that the match may either be either a No-Disqualification match or a Submission match - in which the winner would have to make the loser tap out.
Another piece of last-minute Wrestlemania 30 news is that Christian, who had suffered a concussion in a Fatal Four-way match against Dolph Ziggler, Sheamus, and Alberto Del Rio a few weeks ago on Raw, has been cleared by doctors to compete in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal Sunday night.
The Rock will be in attendance at Wrestlemania 30, having posted a photo on his Twitter account from the airport in New Orleans. Also confirmed to make an appearance at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome is "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, who will be joining The Rock, Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels to celebrate 30 years of "The Showcase of the Immortals", while F4WOnline.com is reporting that Sting will be in town for WrestleCon, being held in New Orleans, with the WCW icon's representatives saying he has no other scheduled appearances other than the convention, leading to the possibility of surprise appearance Sunday night.
Sting had been trying to work out a deal with the WWE since leaving TNA Wrestling as a free agent, with a deal that may include the release of a DVD chronicling his career in WCW and a match at potential match Wrestlemania XXXI - possibly against The Undertaker.
One person not likely to be Wrestlemania 30 is CM Punk, who recently got engaged to current WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee. Punk was last seen Friday night in Chicago hanging out onstage with his friends from the band Against Me! and chances of him attending would likely be seen as supporting his future wife, who will defend her championship in the Vickie Guerrero Divas Invitational match.
Post-Wrestlemania plans will start taking shape tomorrow night on Raw with Alberto Del Rio likely to feud with Intercontinental Champion Big E and Rob Van Dam making his return to the company prior to SummerSlam, possibly as soon as this Monday night. Batista will probably stay a heel during his current run with the WWE, completely comfortable in that role.. "The Animal" told the Washington Post that he felt it was mistake to bring him back as face.
"They told me that I was going to come back and be this huge babyface," said Batista to the Washington DC paper when Raw made their stop tin the nation's capital prior to heading to New Orleans. "I said, 'no, it's not going to work.' They said, 'no way, they're dying for you to come back.' I said, 'that's going to last two minutes, just watch.' And sure enough it did."
