The Florida Gators, Connecticut Huskies, Wisconsin Badgers, and Kentucky Wildcats will look to book a spot in the national finals of the most famous college basketball tournament in the country when they play on Saturday's NCAA Tournament 2014 Final Four.
The top-seeded Gators and seventh-seeded Huskies will kick off the festivities when they collide at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The Gators, who are the No. 1 overall seed in this year's tournament, cruised to the national semifinals thanks to convincing victories in their first four games, including an impressive 62-52 win over the Dayton Flyers in the Elite Eight.
Meanwhile, the Huskies had a harder, and more surprising path to the Final Four, defeating higher-seeded teams in their last three games as they continue to bust brackets in their climb to the top.
Connecticut ousted second-seeded Villanova in the third round, third-seeded Iowa State in the Sweet 16, and fourth-seeded Michigan State in the Elite Eight.
UConn senior guard Shabazz Napier has been on a tear in this year's tournament, averaging 23.3 points per game.
Gators coach Billy Donovan, who is looking to lead Florida to their third national title under his watch, knows that the Huskies will be a tough opponent, but he is confident that his team will be mentally ready against the upset-conscious Huskies.
"These guys understand what goes into playing and competing, they're really good as it relates to scouting report and preparation," Donovan said, via ESPN. "I think they understand how hard they have to play, how well they have to play defensively together, offensively together."
Meanwhile, the freshman-laden Wildcats will look to extend their impressive run in this year's national basketball championships when they face the second-seeded Badgers in the other Final Four match.
Led by NBA lottery pick prospect Julius Randle and Harrison twins, Aaron and Andrew, the Wildcats have been exceeding expectations this season.
Kentucky sent top-seeded Wichita packing with an upset win in the third round, which was followed by close wins against No. 4 Louisville and No. 2 Michigan.
The Wildcats will look to move a step closer to winning their ninth national title in school history, but the Badgers, who are making their first Final Four appearance since 2000, are expected to give them a run for their money.
TV Schedule & Live Stream
The Connecticut-Florida showdown will start at 6:09 p.m. EDT Saturday, followed by the Kentucky-Wisconsin match at 8:49 p.m. EDT. Both games will be shown live via TBS, while live stream will be available via March Madness Live.
