Jordan Brand will release three new retro shoes on April 5 that will surely get a lot of attention from sneaker heads.

First up are the Air Jordan 9 Retro "Barons," an edition that was inspired by the Chicago White Sox's minor league team, the Birmingham Barons, which NBA legend Michael Jordan played for during his brief baseball stint following his first retirement in 1993.

This edition features a white-based leather upper part with black and grey hints. It also sports a pinstriped inner lining along with a "45" stiching on the back portion, a tribute to Jordan's baseball career.

"A nod to the sport he loved as a kid-and eventually played as an adult-the Air Jordan 9 Retro 'Wolf Grey' takes inspiration from his baseball career, with a "45" stitched on the back heel instead of the usual "23," plus an inner lining accented by pinstripes," Nike noted.

The AJ 9 Retro "Barons," officially listed as the White/Black-Neutral Grey colorway of this retro model, will sell at $170 per pair in select Nike stores.

The first-ever Air Jordan model will also be released in a Birmingham Barons-inspired coloroway.

Like the AJ 9 Retro, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "Barons" feature a combination of white, black, and wolf grey accents on the upper part along with a pinstripe inner lining.

This edition, which is also listed as the White/Black-Wolf Grey colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG, will be available for $140 worldwide.

Another Jordan Brand shoe model that is expected to make headlines is the Jordan 6-17-23, which will hit shelves in a White/Infrared 23-Black colorway.

This edition features a white-based upper part accented with infrared 23 and black hints, and finished off with a speckled midsole. According to Nike, the Jordan 6-17-23 has the features of two iconic Jordan Brand sneakers.

"The Jordan 6-17-23 is a mashup of two iconic Air Jordan models, the 6 and 17. Taking cues from each shoe, the general shape of the Air Jordan 6 serves as the base on which distinct pieces from the Air Jordan 17 are layered (midsole, outsole elements, lace loops, collar and tongue," Nike noted.

The Jordan 6-17-23 "Infrared 23" will sell at $145 per pair worldwide.
