In the next all-new episode of "Bones," the Jeffersonian team will discover the highs and the lows of cannabis in a new case.

A promo video for the upcoming episode, which is aptly entitled "The High in the Low," shows the team will be investigating the death of an art school dropout who had lupus and used marijuana to self-medicate. They will also discover that her work at a dispensary may have been connected to her death.

Guest star Michael Grant Terry will also reprise his role as Wendell Bray and return after making the tough decision to undergo cancer treatments rather than traveling the world and allowing himself to die, reports CarterMatt.

The official synopsis for "The High in the Low" states:

"The Jeffersonian team investigates the death an art school dropout struggling with Lupus, whose remains were found inside a log in a forest. When the team learns about the victim's use of cannabis to treat her pain, it leads them to the dispensary where she worked, and they uncover more shocking details that could have contributed to her death. Meanwhile, squintern Wendell Bray (guest star Michael Grant Terry) returns after starting cancer treatments, and while working on the case, he starts to open up more about his illness, only to reveal some shocking news that may end in his termination."

Other guest stars that will make an appearance include Roshawn Franklin as Carl Collins, P.J. Boudousque as Adam Caputo, Larry Sullivan as Dr. Richard Burke, Darryl Reeves as Convict, Katy Stoll as Abby Briggs and Elizabeth Ann Bennett as Mallory Briggs, reports OnTheFix.

"Bones" S9E20, "The High in the Low," airs Monday, April at 8 p.m. EDT on Fox.
