The rumored Google Motorola X Phone has been through a rather bumpy ride through the rumor mill, but it looks like most of that can finally come to a rest. At AllThingsD's D11 executive conference, Motorola Mobility CEO Dennis Woodside revealed that the next big thing from the company will indeed be the "Moto X."

Woodside also hinted that the Moto X would launch in October, alongside a slew of other offerings from Motorola. If that's the case, the Moto X would be going up against other fall powerhouses like the rumored next Apple iPhone and Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

That's not all, however, Woodside said that the phone was in his pocket, alluding to the implication that development is going well - at least well enough for a CEO to carry it around in his pocket.

"It's in my pocket, but I can't show it to you," Woodside explained.

The Moto X is said to pack some pretty cognizant features. The smartphone will contain a vast array of sensors that will allow it to tell if it's in your pocket or doing 60 miles per hour in a car with you. Judging the situation, the smartphone will supposedly tailor the user experience for safety and ease.

The Moto X will be 70 percent manufactured in the United States, with components like the processor and OLED screen coming from Korea. This would make the Moto X the first smartphone to be manufactured in the United States. 

It's not quite sure whether this will be Google's next flagship Android smartphone. The company was rumored to be working on a Nexus 5 with LG, but that rumor was recently shot down by an LG executive. Google owns Motorola, but has made no moves in the past to incorporate the company more into its workings - the Moto X sounds like the perfect place to start.
