The wait is over with Wrestlemania 30 right upon on us and Hulk Hogan making his return to host "The Grandest Stage of All", being held this year in New Orleans. "The Showcase of the Immortals" takes over the "Big Easy" with feuds that will be settled, a new tradition will be started after an Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal winner is crowned, and a main event that will set the table for the company for the coming year.
Fatal Four-way match WWE World Tag Team Championship match: The Usos (champions) vs The Real Americans vs Los Matadores vs Ryback & Curtis Axel
The Usos kick off the night putting their titles on the line against three hungry teams in the Wrestlemania Kickoff Show - available on WWE Network, YouTube.com, WWE.com, the WWE App, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo!, Google+, Samsung Smart TVs, Sony PS3, Pinterest or Pheed prior to the start of the pay-per-view (PPV). Rybexl and Los Matadores have the better team chemistry coming into the match, compared to the Real Americans - with Jack Swagger and Cesaro once again having communications problems and Zeb Colter playing mediator in his own way. While the odds may be against Usos, the siblings are slick enough to take advantage of the chaos and retain their titles.
Andre the Giant Memorial 30-man Over-the-Top Rope Battle Royal
Thirty men have been invited to compete in the inaugural Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, being held in honor of the career of Andre the Giant, who won a 30-Man Over-the-Top Battle Royal back in Wrestlemania II. Certain participants have an advantage with their guile - such as The Miz's trickery, Kofi Kingston's agility and Alberto Del Rio's willingness to play dirty. Others have strength on their side - such as Mark Henry, Sheamus, and Intercontinental Champion Big E. But the Big Show is the clear favorite, who has established his dominance over the other participants in the weeks leading up to the PPV. A huge x-factor are the four open slots left and this would be a good time for NXT product Alexander Rusev to steal The Big Show's Wrestlemania Moment. Barring any hidden surprises such as Rusev - who did compete in the Royal Rumble, the Big Show should have a more positive Wrestlemania experience this time around.
Six-man Tag Team match: The Shield vs Kane & The Corporate New Age Outlaws
The Shield was another squad that was having chemistry issues until Kane's interference in match to determine the number one contenders for the WWE Tag Team titles once again gave the crew a common bond to put their differences aside. The Shield has started clicking as a team once again and gave Kane a taste of what they are capable of when they work as one, laying "The Big Corporate Monster" out with a Triple Power-Bomb. But the "Hounds of Justice" must watch out for the angry WWE Director of Operations who will likely unleash the demon that has left a trail of bodies behind him throughout his career. Kane will have the wily New Age Outlaws by his side, who have rejuvenated their career helping out their former D-Generation X partner-in-crime, Triple H, do what's best for business. The Shield should come out on top so long as United States Champion Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns continue to get along.
John Cena vs Bray Wyatt
Bray Wyatt has been on a roll since defeating Daniel Bryan at the Royal Rumble, including a victory over the Big Show on Smackdown (with some help from Erick Rowan and Luke Harper) going into New Orleans after setting his sights on John Cena. Wyatt attempted to wear Cena down both physically and mentally, unleashing his clan on the former champion but Cena responded this past Monday night playing their psychological games to his advantage. Cena has always had great success at Wrestlemania but Wyatt may prove to be a different kind of individual who will have Cena's number Sunday night.
Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational for the WWE Divas Championship
Smackdown general manager Vickie Guerrero has had her problems with WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee over the years and has put the champ in a tough spot Sunday night, forcing her to defend the title in a one-fall match against 14 other divas. AJ has been in a rut of late, especially after losing the support of her bodyguard, Tamina - one of the participants looking to take her championship. AJ will also have to watch out for E! Total Divas such as Natalya, the Bella Twins, and Naomi of the Funkadactyls, who she has angered in the past and would love to shut her up by taking her precious title. But the champion will find a way to beat the scramble to pin her despite not having Tamina's support and will live to fight another day with the title around her waist.
The Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar
In what is being billed as "The Streak vs the Beast", The Undertaker puts his undefeated 21-0 Wrestlemania streak on the line against Lesnar. The Undertaker faces one of his toughest challenges to his streak, having defeated the likes of Jake "The Snake" Roberts, King Kong Bundy, Shawn Michaels, and CM Punk throughout his career. Lesnar is younger, physically more imposing than The Undertaker and will have the help of Paul Heyman, who will stop at nothing to help a client out. But Wrestlemania has always been The Undertaker's playground, always rising to the challenge, with the dead man finding a way to tame Lesnar, possibly tapping him out with a Hell's Gate, to keep his streak alive for one more year.
Triple H vs Daniel Bryan
As head of the The Authority, WWE COO Triple H has prevented Daniel Bryan from fulfilling his championship dreams at almost every turn - from ruining his Summerslam helping Randy Orton win the WWE Title, to stripping him of the championship after beating Orton, to preventing him from participating in the Royal Rumble. Bryan, with the "YES! Movement" behind him, hijacked Raw, and forced Triple H into a match against him in New Orleans, with an opportunity to participate in the main event match later in the night should he win the bout. Triple H, tired of Bryan's fans disrupting his show, has not only vowed to end Bryan and his "YES! Movement" but has now inserted himself into the main event should he beat Bryan. "The Game" battered and weakened Bryan, beating him down with weapons after handcuffing him, but paid for it dearly in the last edition of Raw after Bryan attacked Triple H while he was doing commentary in the main event. Bryan will have to watch out for whatever tricks Triple H and his wife Stephanie McMahon have up their sleeves, but he will overcome the obstacles to dethrone the "King of Kings" and place himself in a position to have not one but two Wrestlemania Moments.
Triple Treat WWE World Heavyweight Championship main event match: Randy Orton (champion) vs Batista vs winner of Daniel Bryan/Triple match
Batista earned a shot at Randy Orton's title by winning the Royal Rumble and has reason to be upset about Triple H and Daniel Bryan interjecting themselves in his main event match. While fans have been less than receptive of "Boo-tista's" return to the WWE, "The Animal" has made it clear that he does not care about fan approval or old "Evolution" ties with Orton and Triple H. All Batista wants is the title back around his waist.
Orton is not happy about the match being turned into a Triple Threat match, knowing the odds of retaining the title have increased against him. But "The Viper" has enjoyed Batista irk The Authority after having offended Stephanie McMahon while quietly observing as Triple H softened up a potential title foe, lurking in the grass waiting for his opportunity to strike.
With one challenger - whether it be Triple H or Bryan - likely to make it to the main event physically broken down and the other one drawing the ire of The Authority, the "Apex Predator" will find a way to stand tall at the end of the night, basking in the glow of his Wrestlemania Moment.
