For the already delayed Watch Dogs, there is now news that the game won't get a demo.

This may be a disappointment for fans who have been itching to get their hands on the game, especially since it was first announced in 2012. Jonathan Morin said that Ubisoft Montreal is focused on finishing the game, according to Polygon.

"[There is] no demo planned before release," he said.

He later further explained in a Tweet. "Demos take time, the focus is on the game."

The game was originally supposed to be released in November, but in October, Ubisoft pushed back the release until 2014.

"We got everyone together and we looked at the game," said Dominic Guay, senior producer, at the time. "There were discussions that were happening between people in the development team, senior core team, but also with HQ and the studio here. Everybody was talking, looking at the game. Everybody was playing the game and seeing the same things, and so those discussions were all coming down to the same conclusion."

The team didn't believe they could finish the game in the month that was left if they were going to create the game they wanted. So it's now set to be released on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 260, Xbox One and Windows PC on May 27. The Wii U version will be out later.

But it's not all bad news.

Ubisoft will be releasing clips of the game before it launches to whet people's appetites.
