Batista kicked off the show bragging about his accomplishments since returning to the WWE, including winning the Royal Rumble in his first match back and whining that it was not fair his main event slot at Wrestlemania 30 was converted into a Triple Threat match against WWE Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton and the winner of the Triple H-Daniel Bryan match. The WWE COO came out and demanded Batista leave his wife out of their problems, while scheduling Batista for a match against Sheamus, to toughen "The Animal" up since he has gotten soft since returning to the company.

The Shield's Seth Rollins and United States Champion Dean Ambrose defeated 3MB's Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre in quick fashion, only to have WWE Director of Operations Kane, and his two new assistants, The New Age Outlaws, schedule The Shield to a match against Ryback and Curtis Axel. Rollins reversed Axel's PerfectPlex into a Curb Stomp to earn their second victory of the night. After the bout, The Shield sent a message to the WWE suits after Rollins flung Ryback into a Roman Reign's Superman Punch and then laying out the massive WWE superstar with a Triple Powerbomb.

Sin Cara defeated Damien Sandow in a rematch from their Monday Night Raw encounter.

Fandango, who has had a bit of a problem with the Rhodes brothers, beat Goldust after Fandango's dance partner, Summer Rae, distracted Goldust long enough for Fandango to earn the victory.

Sheamus earned the win over Batista, via disqualification, after "The Animal" used a steel chair to beat down the Irishman while they were battling outside the ring. Batista tossed Sheamus back into the ring and laid him out with a Batista Bomb before grabbing the mic and asking Triple H if he was happy with the results. He then told the WWE exec and the WWE Universe that he was going to be the champion whether they liked it or not.

WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee learned it was lonely at the top of the mountain after she was left on her own during her tag team match against the stars of E! Total Divas the Bella Twins. AJ - who is scheduled to defend her title against Naomi, Cameron, Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, Natalya, Eva Marie, Emma, Aksana, Alicia Fox, Summer Rae, Rosa Mendes, Layla, and her bodyguard, Tamina at Wrestlemania - was tagged into the match by Tamina, which the champion was not expecting, and ended up getting pinned.

Jack Swagger of The Real Americans defeated on- half of the current WWE Tag Team champions, Jimmy Uso, in singles competition after the All-American forced Uso to tap out to the Patriot Lock.

The Miz showed Mark Henry that he can toss the "World's Strongest Man" over the top rope during their match, proving to the big man that he can do the same at Wrestlemania 30's Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. The Miz ended up taking the loss after Henry overpowered the former champion and pinned him after squashing him with The World's Strongest Slam.

Bray Wyatt defeated The Big Show, with help from Erick Rowan and Luke Harper, nailing him with Sister Abigail to end the show.
