To follow up the highly anticipated debut of the "Suicide Squad" on "Arrow," the DC Comics-based thriller will air an all-new episode Wednesday that will feature an epic showdown between the Canary and Oliver's "pyscho ex-girlfriend," Helena.

In the previous episode, "Suicide Squad," Oliver and Slade met for the first time since the island and had an intense face-off as Slade swore to uphold a promise he made to Oliver five years ago: "You cannot die until you have suffered the same way I have suffered. Until you have known complete despair. And you will." In turn, Oliver, tried to push his loved ones away to protect them from Slade, until he eventually let Sara in. He also promised to kill Slade and "make damn sure he stays dead," reports Hypable.com.

The upcoming installment, "Birds of Prey," will feature a serious dose of girl power. After purposefully getting arrested, Frank Bertinelli will lure his daughter Helena, aka The Huntress, back into town. Laurel will be assigned to try Frank's case, and The Huntress will hold her and others hostage inside of a building. That's when Sara will jump in, stopping at nothing to save her sister, even if might risk revealing her Canary identity, reports TVLine.

The CW released a video teaser for Episode 17, featuring the return of The Huntress. In the clip, The Huntress arrives and is ready to take her father down. She then realizes that he has colluded with the Starling City police to take her into custody. However, just when you think that Helena is trapped, it seems like she has a backup plan.

The official promo video decribes Helena as "Oliver's psycho ex-girlfriend" who threatens to kill innocent lives.

According to ComingSoon, the synopsis for "Birds of Prey," reads:

"When Frank Bertinelli (guest star Jeffrey Nordling) is arrested, Oliver (Stephen Amell) knows it's only a matter of time before his daughter, Helena, AKA The Huntress (guest star Jessica De Gouw), returns to town. To make matters worse, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) is picked to try Frank's case, putting her right in the path of Helena. Oliver tells Sara (Caity Lotz) he will handle his ex-girlfriend, but when Helena takes hostages at the courthouse, including Laurel, the Canary will stop at nothing to save her sister. When The Huntress and Canary meet, an epic battle begins. Meanwhile, Roy (Colton Haynes) realizes he needs to keep Thea (Willa Holland) safe, but doesn't like the way he is forced to go about it."

For fans wanting to see more of the Suicide Squad, "Arrow" executive producer Marc Guggenheim noted that Deadshot and company hinted that they will return in the final scene. "I don't want to spoil too much where we're headed," said the EP to TVLine, adding " but you haven't seen the last of Amanda, and you haven't seen the last of the Suicide Squad."

Speaking of "The Flash," Guggenheim also revealed at a recent press event that "The Flash" cast members Danielle Panabaker and Carlos Valdes will both will guest-star in Episode 19 of the hit CW drama.

In "The Flash," which is a spin-off of "Arrow," Panabaker will play Caitlin Snow, a bioengineering expert who lost her fiancé during the particle accelerator snafu at Central City's S.T.A.R. Labs. Later on, there is speculation that she will morph into Killer Frost. Carlos Valdes will play Cisco Ramon, S.T.A.R. Labs' youngest genius, who may transition into becoming Vibe from the Justice League.

"The idea of bringing in those characters really, really appealed to us because it allowed us to honor our original intention [of] doing something Flash-related around Episode 19 or 20 without ... basically paying Grant Gustin to sit around with his eyes closed/unconscious the whole episode," Guggenheim explained to TVLine, adding that Barry won't emerge from his coma until the premiere of "The Flash." "This episode is really cool. It allows us to further flesh out the Flash universe on 'Arrow.'"

"Arrow" S2E17, "Birds of Prey," airs Wednesday, March 26 at 8 p.m. EST on CW.
