Jennifer Aniston talks aging and beauty on Aveeno's new YouTube campaign, "The Beauty of Nature, Active Naturals Oat for Your Skin."
The mini movie launched on Friday and it features oats. It shows people how Aveeno products are made and how detailed the process is.
She continues to be a leading lady into her 40s, and she is comfortable with herself but does not like that the phrase "for your age" is appearing more frequently next to her name, according to Women's Wear Daily.
"Your age always has to be mentioned and men don't really get that for some reason. It's not like you see Jose Schmo, 37," she said. "Women and men today in their 40s are so much healthier than they were 30 years ago in their 40s. It was a different time. We know how to take care of ourselves. We know what to put in our bodies to fuel us that's healthy and organic and not processed, and the importance of drinking water and cutting out sugars and bad fats. Before, we just didn't know that, and we didn't have the technology with skin care that we have today."
Aniston says balancing her sponsorship roles with her acting career is easy because being the face for SmartWater and Aveeno does not take a lot of commitment. She does it on her off-time, and she gets to learn interesting details.
"What I learned about is how they make the products, the farm that they go to in Canada, the climate and the importance of the soil and how they get that oat from being an oat in the field to being in a bottle," she said.
