Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach is confident Manny Pacquiao will win his upcoming rematch with Timothy Bradley and wrap up his career as a world champion, the reigning Trainer of the Year said in an interview last week with The Press Telegram.

Roach, who guided the Filipino boxer to becoming the only eight-division world champion in the history of boxing, said his prize fighter still has enough gas left in the tank to finish his career in an impressive fashion.

After almost two years of waiting, Pacquiao will finally have the chance to redeem himself after losing to Bradley in a controversial split decision in 2012.

The 35-year-old Pacquiao is coming off a 12-round demolition of Brandon Rios in November, while Bradley edged Mexican legend Juan Manuel Marquez in an epic 12-round WBO Welterweight slugfest in October.

When asked how motivated Pacquiao is for his second clash with Bradley, Roach did not mince any words in expressing their desire to make a statement in this bout, especially after the American told Pacquiao that he already lost the killer instinct at this point of this career.

"For Bradley to say, 'Manny doesn't have the hunger anymore and it's never coming back' and 'Manny no longer has his killer instinct,' that tells me that Bradley is still suffering from the concussion [Ruslan] Provodnikov laid on him," Roach said.

Pacman's trainer added that they are looking to score a win in the Bradley fight and sweep their remaining bouts in the ring, allowing Pacquiao to retire with a world championship belt wrapped around his waist.

"Manny is really motivated for this fight," he said. "We decided no matter how many fights we have remaining, we are determined to run the table and win every one. Roach said. "And when it is over, it is going to be as world champion. And that can only happen with a total and absolute victory over Bradley."

The Pacquiao vs. Bradley WBO Welterweight Championship fight will take place on April 12 at MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas, Nev. and broadcast live on HBO Pay-Per-View.
