New Assassin's Creed 5 images have been leaked, and it looks like the protagonist is in Paris.

A source gave Kotaku pictures of the setting, which seems to take place in 18th century Paris, according to Digital Trends. The Seine River, Notre Dame and other landmarks can be seen in the screenshots.

Kotaku points out that though this a small glimpse into the new game, that it is still unfinished. Therefore, things can and probably will change by the time it is released.

Previously, the only thing that was confirmed was that it took place during Ubisoft executive Jade Raymond's favorite historical era. This would place this game in the midst of the French Revolution.

The revolution took place between 1789 and 1799, and during the Reign of Terror, a one-year period starting in 1793, more than 40,000 people died in France. This time period would make sense with other Assassin's Creed games. And it means, Connor, from Assassin's Creed III, could return. Or at the very least, someone from his family could.

The source continues to maintain that there will be two games, both of which will be released in the fall.

One will be for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and the other for the older models. The games go under code names, and Unity is the one for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Arno will be the protagonist for Unity.

The second project, which is for the PS3 and Xbox 360, is being called Comet. Not as much is known about this version, so it may or may not be related to Unity.
