The Backstreet Boys are back, again by popular demand.

The successful 1990's boy band announced Friday on "Good Morning America" that it will be bringing its world tour back to North America in May. According to the group, they received an outpouring of support and an "overwhelming demand on Facebook and Twitter" to add the additional North American tour dates, reports ABC News.

As a result, the five member band will kick off the U.S. and Canada leg of its "In a World Like This" tour on May 3 in Moncton, New Brunswick. Then they are set to make their first appearance in the U.S. on May 22 in Seattle.

The tour will also make several stops in California May 24 through May 29, followed by two stops in Vegas on May 30 and May 31, before traveling all over the country in June.

Fortunately for BSB fans, all five of the original band members will be on tour: Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson. Singer Avril Lavigne will open each show, reports the LA Times.

"We really wanted to put together a great show and do our best to give everyone their money's worth," Brian Littrell said in a press release, according to USA Today. "Avril is an unbelievably talented artist who's a perfect fit to make these shows extra special for our fans."

Tickets for the show go on sale March 21 through Live Nation.
