Maite Perroni recently celebrated her birthday, and just like the rest of us, she went on social media and thanked everyone for the nice comments.
"Thank you for every word, every act of kindness, for making me feel so lucky, for being part of my life on this special day," she wrote before she shared a string of Tweets.
The Mexican star turned 31 years old on May 9, and she gave us a little glimpse of how her day went on Twitter. When her best friend shared a picture of the birthday girl sitting in front of a birthday cake saying that she loved her best friend very much, Perroni retweeted and wrote "love you bff." Perroni wore a white shirt, her straight hair slightly parted to the side, and she looked very low-key.
Other celebrities made sure to write to the star.
Sebastián Rulli, who seems to have a great memory for birthdays, Tweeted Aracely Arámbula recently, "Very happy birthday friend @MaiteOficial !!! Enjoy your day, and I hope all your wishes come true. Kisses and Blessings."
Singer and actress Dulce Maria and Anahi were also among the well wishers.
Perroni must have been overwhelmed with everyone's kind words because she ended her day on Twitter by saying, "Thank you everyone. I keep reading your messages, and I wish I could respond to all of them!!! Many kisses."
She hasn't Tweeted since.
The actress, who grew up in Guadalajara, first gained popularity when she played Lupita on "Rebelde." She would later star in "Mi Pecado" and "Triunfo de Amor." She will back on screens with her next role as Esmeralda in "La Gata," starring alongside Daniel Arenas. The film is a remake of a 1968 Venezuelan telenovela.
