Spanish journalist Ana Rosa Quintana and Cuarzo are demanding that Paulina Rubio be detained should she enter Spain.
The company is accusing the Mexican star of not paying roughly $63,000 in legal expenses in lawsuits she lost against several media companies in Spain, according to TV y Novelas.
Rubio filed defamation lawsuits against "Dónde Estás Corazón," "Aquí Hay Tomate" and "Crónicas Marcianas" for $750,000 after they spread that she might be gay. Quintana argues that Rubio should be charged with disobedience and obstruction of justice. She is five years behind on payments.
The singer has ignored court order by not showing up to testify before a Spanish tribunal, but Rubio said she never received any notice. The producer therefore wants the singer to be detained if she enters Spain and says she has legal documents that can prove very troublesome for the singer.
Cuarzo Producciones and the legal team are thinking of removing her passport once she arrives in Spain, so that she has to comply with her legal obligations.
And though she has also taken her ex-husband, Nicolás Vallejo-Nágera, to court for allegedly breaching the terms of their joint custody agreement, it seems the singer is trying to focus on the positive.
She took to Twitter to share the news of her accessories line created in collaboration with Just Fab.
"I'm ready for any looming surprises," she wrote on Twitter. "I hope you are as excited about the presentation for my new spring accessories line. I'm blonder than ever and convinced that no one is ugly!"
Vallejo-Nágera is trying to increase the amount of money he receives now that the singer has new "economic compensations." He also says that she is trying to discredit him professionally so that he is unable to find work, which is another reason he's demanding an increase in alimony payment. He will also continue to fight for custody of Andrea Nicolás, he says.
