Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah made a pitch to Carmelo Anthony for the two to team up during the next NBA season in Chicago, but apparently, Noah was not the only player who had a conversation with the New York Knicks superstar about his impending free agency.

CSN Chicago reports that Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love also had a conversation with Anthony, with sources saying that the discussion was allegedly about a possible team up in New York in 2015.

"Noah did discuss the prospect of Anthony relocating from New York to Chicago, but a league source said that Anthony subsequently had a conversation with Timberwolves All-Star power forward Kevin Love, a oft-rumored Knicks free-agency target in 2015," CSN Chicago reported.

According to earlier reports, the Knicks are planning to make a big free agency splash in the summer of 2015, and Love, along with Boston Celtics superstar Rajon Rondo, are allegedly the Knicks' top targets.

Noah Brushes Off Melo Recruitment Talks

While CSN Chicago reported that Noah had a discussion with Anthony about the advantages of playing in Chicago next season, the All-Star center voiced his disappointment over how the media portrayed their discussion.

"I feel a lot of gossip," Noah said. "I think we all know that we're in a good place, our team is in a good place. We've got a healthy group, it's a healthy environment, and we're not going to let gossip get in the way of what we're doing. We've gone through so much this year, so it's not going to be a little gossip that gets out there."

ESPN reported on Monday that Noah told Anthony to join the Bulls this summer if he wants to win his first NBA title soon. The 29-year-old center reportedly added that Anthony will not get the same chance if decides to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers or stay in the Big Apple.

Anthony had a cryptic response, telling Noah that he admires how hard the Bulls are playing this season despite injuries that hit the team this season, while also adding that Rose is his son's favorite player in the league, according to ESPN's Chris Broussard.
