Manchester United manager David Moyes has been scrutinized all season long for the Red Devils' tumultuous season, but Sir Alex Ferguson's successor vowed that they will be stronger next season.

In his bid to restore Man U back to its usual status as one of the top teams in Europe, Moyes is reportedly interested in adding Antoine Griezmann and Paul Pogba to their roster.

ESPN reported that Moyes, who is in his first year as new Manchester United boss, made a trip to Paris on Wednesday to personally scout Griezmann and Pogba, who are both expected to draw interest of several top-tier teams this summer.

Juventus forward Pogba, who has been on Moyes' radar for the past several years, played well for 81 minutes during France's 2-0 friendly win over Netherlands.

Griezmann, who is currently playing for Real Sociedad and has scored 19 goals for the team so far this season, earned his first cap for France and he lived up to expectations as he made impact despite not netting a goal for Le Bleus.

United scout David Frioo was impressed with Griezmann, saying that the forward will likely succeed at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

"Greizmann would clearly bring something. His versatility and technique, in a tournament where the gaps are reduced, are real assets. You can't score 15 goals in a great league without having real qualities," Frioo told L'Equipe.

Moyes Vows Improvement

Meanwhile, Moyes wrote an open letter to Manchester United fans on Friday, thanking them for their continued support despite the team's underachieving season.

The Red Devils, who won the Barclays Premier League title last year, are currently seventh in the Premier League table. They are on the verge of missing the Champions League cut if they won't turn things around in their last 11 games this season.

Moyes admitted that being Manchester United's manager has been tougher than he expected when he accepted Ferguson's offer to take over at the Old Trafford, but he promised improvements moving forward.

"Over the years you have seen great winning sides here and, in time, I have absolutely no doubt that we will see great winning sides here again," Moyes said, Sky Sports reported. "A big step towards that will be transforming Old Trafford back into the fortress it has long been renowned as, and we will do everything in our power to get the positive performances and results to do that."
