Nicholas Hoult is on the cover of V Man Magazine, and while his blue eyes are prominently displayed on the cover, it's the interview we can't get enough of.

In the Spring/Summer 2014 issue, he opens up about his relationship with 23-year-old Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence. Though the actress' star has risen in the past few years, he says dating her has not changed.

"The privacy thing obviously changes," he said. "The rest pretty much stays the same."

He says that her down-to-earth personality has made the relationship possible.

"I think that's something she's capable of doing, and that's what makes her special, but yeah, it is very odd, and I am just kind of a bystander in many ways," he said. "It is well-deserved for her. I haven't really seen any change in her."

The two met on the set of the first "X-Men" movie, and he described what it was like working with her as well.

"It's fun because in this business you are away from one another for long periods of time, so when you're on set together it's a brilliant thing because you actually get to spend time together."

The two also made the rounds during award show season. When Jennifer Lawrence won her Golden Globe for best supporting actress, she was photographed kissing Hoult. And during the Oscars, she and Hoult were sitting together in the front row. They were broken up for last year's Oscars, so it was his first time experiencing the award season with an it-girl.

The two began dating in 2011, but broke up in January 2013. They got back together in July 2013.

At the beginning of 2014, a tabloid fabricated a story saying that the two were engaged.
