Whether he's ready or not, Jamie Dornan's notoriety is sure to skyrocket once the highly anticipated movie adaption of "Fifty Shades of Grey" premieres next February. The only question is, will he be able to handle the fame?
The 32-year-old Irish actor was cast in the film to play the leading role of sexy billionaire Christian Grey. However, although he knows that the role is a big deal, the model admits that he can't imagine how he will react to his newfound stardom.
"I have no idea," he revealed during an interview on the late-night UK TV programme, "The Graham Norton Show," according to Independent Woman.ie.
Dornan continued, "I mean, look, we're in a very powerful position that 90-plus million people have read the book so if like a third - I mean, a hundredth of those people - that's successful if they see the film. It's a nice position to be in but I have no idea what it's gonna do."
After accepting the role, the actor says that he has become more conscious of the way he walks and that his wife helped him to stop walking on his toes.
"My wife tried to help by making me lean back and then in Fifty Shades my character has to dance the foxtrot and the teacher said, 'Do it as though you are walking; heel to toe," said Dornan on the talk show. "No one had ever told me that was how you walk and now I am applying it every day!" he added.
"Fifty Shades of Grey" is set to be released on Valentine's Day in 2015.
