"Reign" fans can look forward to seeing some steamy, exclusive scenes when a less edited version of tonight's episode airs online on Friday.
The CW will show an uncensored version of Thursday night's sexy episode, "The Consummation," on the CWTV.com site on Friday morning, EW.com reports.
The online version will show different edits of the two sex scenes: one that occurs at the beginning of the show, and one that airs toward the end that involves Mary (Adelaide Kane) and one of her two flames, Francis (Tony Regbo) or Bash (Torrance Coombs).
"Reign" has toned down its sexual content before.
The medieval drama previously took out a more explicit scene of "self pleasure" from its series premiere. That moment followed a scene in which Mary and her ladies-in-waiting watched a royal couple consummate their marriage.
On Thursday's episode, "The Consummation," "Mary Stuart's wedding to Sebastian is getting closer and closer as the Pope comes to a decision. Francis comes back to court to save his mother's life. Then everything takes a back step when Mary's own mother, Marie de Guise arrives at French Court. This does not sit well with King Henry and Catherine."
Torrance Coombs, who plays Bash, recently told TVLine that Mary is not the cause of all his problems; he also has disdain for the blood sacrifices in the woods.
"He thinks that's a load of crap and he's trying to stop it, so that was always going to get him into trouble. But what gets him into extra trouble is because of his feelings for Mary. They go after her, so he has to bring everybody else into it, too," he said.
He said that his impending marriage to Mary could pose some problems. "It's tricky, because the thing that he's been pining after since the beginning is now available to him, but not fully emotionally available just yet," Coombs explained.
He also hinted that Bash may get cozy with one of Mary's ladies-in-waiting in a future episode, but "maybe not in the way that you think."
The more censored version of "The Consummation" airs Thursday, March 6 at 9 p.m. EST on The CW.
