The New York Knicks have been on a downward spiral this season and their struggles are taking a toll on the team's players, including starting center Tyson Chandler.

The NY Post reports that Chandler is now unsure about his long term future in New York with sources indicating that the former Defensive Player of the Year wants out of the Big Apple.

Recent reports indicate that the Knicks will make drastic moves in the offseason in hopes of convincing Carmelo Anthony to stay.

Former All-Star Amar'e Stoudemire is reportedly on his way out as the Knicks are reportedly determined to deal the oft-injured forward, and Chandler might look for a similar move.

"That's something I have to visit during the offseason," Chandler said. "We're all going to have a lot of decisions to make."

Chandler, who is averaging 9.1 points and 10.3 rebounds this season, still has one full season left in the four-year, $65 million contract he signed with the Knicks in 2011 after winning a championship with the Dallas Mavericks.

The 31-year-old center was confident back then that he had a good chance of winning his second championship with the Knicks, but they have been nothing but a disappointment this season considering they won 54 games last year.

But despite their well-documented struggles this season, Chandler said that they should continue playing hard and finish the season on a positive note.

"For me, it's important regardless to finish out strong," Chandler stressed. "I got a lot more pride than this, coming in night in, night out losing, and not putting forth the type of effort it takes to win. At this stage of my career and what I've established, I refuse to let it put a blemish on it."

The Knicks are expected to retool their roster or rebuild completely in the offseason especially if Anthony decides to leave New York, which is likely to happen, according to Sports World Report, if both Chandler and Stoudemire will be dealt in the offseason.

"Stoudemire and Chandler are gone in the near future, Knicks fans should not expect Anthony to stick it out either," Sports World Report noted.
