Batista kicked off Friday Night Smackdown talking about his upcoming match at Wrestlemania XXX against WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton, before he was interrupted by Daniel Bryan, still upset at how his match against Batista ended on Monday Night Raw and intent on forcing Triple H into a match at the April pay-per-view. WWE Director of Operations Kane came out and started beating down Bryan before The Big Show came out to make the save. Smackdown general manager Vickie Guerrero settled matters by scheduling Batista and Kane against Daniel Bryan and The Big Show in the main event.

Christian defeated Dolph Ziggler after Ziggler was distracted by Alberto Del Rio, who was doing commentary throughout the bout. Del Rio jumped on a open mic and started talking down to Ziggler, who lost focus long enough for Christian to hit the Killswitch finisher for the pin.

The new WWE Tag Team Champions, The Usos, coming off their Monday Night Raw victory over the New Age Outlaws in Chicago, kept the party rolling on Smackdown defeating the team of Curtis Axel and Ryback in a non-title match, after Jey Uso hit the nailed the Superfly Splash on Ryback.

E! Total Divas cast-members Eva Marie and Natalya defeated WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee and her bodyguard Tamina in a tag team bout, after Natalya forced AJ to tap out to the Sharpshooter finisher.

The Shield came out to try and patch things up after their meltdown against the Wyatts on Monday Night Raw. While things seemed tense, with Seth Rollins and United States Champion Dean Ambrose going to blows, at one point during their summit, the team managed to put aside their differences and continue being a unit clicking on the same the page.

Sheamus defeated Alberto Del Rio after nailing him with a Brogue Kick to end the match.

Intercontinental champion Big E Langston defeated Jack Swagger, as tensions between the All-American wrestler and his Real American tag team partner, Antonio Cesaro, continue to fester after Cesaro distracted Swagger during the bout, allowing the champion to roll up Swagger for the pin. After the match, Cesaro and Swagger exchanged words before Zeb Colter took control of the situation.

Daniel Bryan and The Big Show defeated the team of Kane and Batista in the Smackdown main event, after The Big Show nailed Kane with a WMD, allowing Bryan to roll up the WWE executive for the pin and the win to end the show.
