There are no plans to extend "Qué Pobres Tan Ricos."

Producer Rosy Ocampo went on "Fórmula Espectacular" to explain why the Jaime Camil y Zuria Vega-led show is ending.

"The show will be done in June," she said, according to Grupo Fórmula. "I've always liked short, concise stories, and it will not go any longer, definitively."

She previously spoke about how the comedy has resonated with Hispanic audiences, so much so, that they were being awarded a prize for the show, along with the main star, Vega.

On the radio show, she also spoke about Jaime Camil becoming a father again.

"Jaime is super happy. It was great news for Heidi Balvanera, for him and for Elena. And it's definitely good because he's changed since he became a father," she said. "It's such a tenderness he has toward his daughter. He's bound to her. This second child is a great blessing, and the whole Camil family is happy, and we, who are in the background, are too. It's a great joy."

At the start of the year, Camil was expressing his happiness with the success of "Qué Pobres Tan Ricos." "Thank you everyone. #QuePobresTanRicos was one of the top 10 watched programs in the USA!" Camil wrote on Facebook.

On "Despierta America," he described the telenovela as a show for the whole family that deals with two families from different socioeconomic backgrounds that shows what happens when the two have to deal with each other.

While the show might not be on TV much longer, fans have an opportunity to get closer to Camil.

The actor will be joining People en Espanol for a chat at 4:30 p.m. EST on Friday, so get your questions ready and head over to the magazine's Facebook page.
