Good news T-Mobile customers, it looks like the Moto X should release through the carrier after all.

It was just recently that a 9to5Google report sent waves of doubt through the technosphere by stating that T-Mobile was the only major national carrier that wouldn't carry the Moto X smartphone. Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint models have all been spotted in the wild, and 9to5Google speculated that because T-Mobile already carries the Google-branded LG Nexus 4, it hasn't completed a deal with Motorola Mobility yet for the Moto X.

However, an FCC filing for a Moto X with T-Mobile specifications has just been found, meaning that the device should release through T-Mobile. FCC filings shouldn't be relied on as the absolute truth, but the spotting helps quell fears about T-Mobile missing out on what will undoubtedly be one of the hottest phones this year. Motorola is holding an event Aug. 1 at which it will unveil the Moto X, along with all the relevant details, so we'll simply have to wait until then for official confirmation.

The Moto X is rumored to sport a 4.5-inch 720p display, Motorola's new X8 processor, 2GB RAM, and a 2,200mAh battery. The rear-facing camera should take stills at 10 megapixels, and thanks to a leaked promo we know that the phone will feature always-on voice commands and do away with LED notifications, instead bringing up relevant information on the display itself. The phone is also tipped with run Android 4.3 right out of the box, and should have two separate LTE antennas for improved connectivity and speed. Buyers will be able to customize the color and backplate of the phone as well.
